SLEEP APNEA APPLIANCES
Patients that suffer with snoring and sleep apnea that can not tolerate a CPAP machine can wear an oral appliance. The oral appliance supports the jaw in a forward position to help maintain an open upper airway for a quieter and improved night sleep.
Nightguards are recommended for patients that grind or clench their teeth, or suffer from muscle or joint pain. Nightguards provide a preventative measure against tooth wear, fracture, or filling loss. This also helps patients with TMJ pain.
Retainers are recommended for patients that have a history of orthodontics. Retainers help maintain the current spacing and location of the patient’s teeth for aesthetic appeal.
